Fully Flaked Eff Yew Fifty 5!

I'm really proud of this. The summer issue of Hot Rod Deluxe featured Detroit Autorama this year. They came to Detroit with High Hopes of "True" classic customs and rods in "the basement" and what they essentially wrote was theyre is too many rubber rats and non trad cars with no style or class, and the cars they featured in the article were the best of the beasement along with the favorite traditonal show cars from upstairs. It's an honor that Me and Keven Carter made the cut in such a tradtional article....

What's New..

Well these Bad Ass business cards showed up from Car N Art the other day, not only are the "true metalflake" business cards they also serve as stickers.

Also in the works i have a vintage Falstaff Beer Keg to paint, a detroit parkin meter to finish. The Cosmanuat Stroller should be asembled soon so ill have a pic of that up soon as well as the "Pleasure Chest" which is at Jeff Sheas for letters and stripes.

Put up some new filters in the booth, about to order up a set of candy concentrates of about 42 new colors, and upcoming projects include the Poncho Dash, Phil's Bobber Metals, the Top Secret "TropiCoooler"

And in Media news, the Fully Flaked Fifty 5 is in gleaming colormatic imagery in this months Hot Rod Deluxe, Kustoms Illustrated #25

The chrystal beth from what i hear is purplish under light we'll see when the package gets here

yes sno cain is white flake most likely you'll see this in my Dash project in the next week or so..

The Dangerous Blue is white but when light hits it it sparkles brillant blue It was used on the skate decks i did. The Pink is a tad translusent with hints of purple and blue under certain lighting it was used in the "Pleasure Chest" project

Facelift!

The BugSpray shop is getting a much needed facelift after new shelvess go in and white paint gets laid down tomorrow Brown Bag Detroit is gonna roll on in a graffiti up a wall for me....pictures soon......

The Violater!

Not quite sure how this ones going to end up, I think It's going to be a Road Devils Donation box, I got it to the Sealer stage, got the guts out and figured out how to make it say "Violation" all the time. Definately Heavy Red metalflake with a panel on each side of the base and some trick lettering. stay tuned.....

Dangerous Skate!

this was just a test of two new products and one old gun. first off i tryed making my own candy color, and i got a hold of 8 oz. of the custom flake made just for the "May Cause Dangerous" starliner Gambino did. Also shot it using an old gun i havent messed with since high school. turned out not to bad Its on a never used Krooked skate board size 8" wide. tops gripped ready to ride

this project was my personal cooler for the past few years and as seen some wear so I thought it needed a facelift. Skinny Trucker Girl on front Fat Trucker Girl on Back, HOK candy pink with HOK starlight pearl fades over HOK shimrin silver and pink flake, polished top.. still not finished......soon though
